I own a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV WT equipped with the OEM soft tonneau cover. The original cover and its warranty replacement have both failed in the same way. The cover material appears to shrink over time so that the side flaps will no longer reach and stay attached to the Velcro along the bed rails. The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle in sub-zero temperatures, the HVAC unit failed to blow hot air through the vents. On 1/20/26, we purchased a ‘24 Chevy Silverado EV from a Chevrolet dealership. 2 days later, on 1/22/26, while my husband was driving on the interstate, the tonneau cover partially detached and flew backwards lifting upwards and flapping violently.
